Seat & Waitlist Modules
Preferred Seats Mean Satisfied Travelers AQUA’s Seat Module assigns, checks and changes traveler
seats, applying a highly sophisticated weighting system to ensure
the most desired seat is booked. The Seat Module processes PNRs from
a queue by checking the seat map for each flight segment. If the
preferred seat is not available, the software will continuously “read” the
seat map for the traveler’s programmed preference and the software
will assign the next best option.

The Value of Convenience Securing the exact flight or class of service desired by a traveler has
become a highly complicated and challenging process due to heavy load
factors. AQUA’s Waitlist Module works from a queue and
repeatedly queries the GDS to clear waitlisted flights using direct
access and GDS availability. The user determines how waitlists will
be managed. For example, the user may elect to have the system automatically
cancel the old routing and book the cleared waitlisted option, or simply
note in the record that the waitlisted flight is available.

Performance That Makes You More Competitive The Monitor Service is best described as AQUA’s automated diagnostic
and early warning system. It continuously audits each AQUA workstation
to ensure proper functioning and ongoing PNR flow through the system.
Enhances agent productivity and
cost savings by automating the increasingly complex
process of seat and waitlist management that would otherwise
require a substantial amount of time to support.
Improves the traveler experience by
securing the seats travelers desire, on the flights they
prefer, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Combine with the power of AQUA’s Communication
Module to proactively
communicate with travelers via automated e-mail or fax
messages, advising them when their preferred seat or flight has been
secured.
Intelligent design reduces the number
of “hits” to the GDS and speeds system processing
by only rechecking the necessary segments.
Comprehensive detail and summary
reporting validates the system’s
effectiveness in converting preferred seat
and waitlist requests using AQUA’s Statistical
Reporting Module.
